Business Development Manager

Job Description :

tick    Identify and pursue high-potential business opportunities across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
tick    Generate and qualify leads for custom software, web, and mobile app projects via digital outreach and networking.
tick    Conduct client discovery meetings to understand technical requirements and business goals.
tick    Work closely with VeecoTech’s technical and project teams to craft effective proposals and quotations.
tick    Present tailored solutions to decision-makers (e.g., CEOs, CIOs, Heads of IT/Marketing).
tick    Negotiate project scope, pricing, and terms to close deals aligned with company margins.
tick    Manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-ups and reporting.
tick    Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive account growth and repeat business.
tick    Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets aligned with VeecoTech’s revenue goals.
tick    Represent VeecoTech at industry events, expos, and digital platforms to expand market presence.

Requirements :

tick  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
tick  At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or software solution selling.
tick  Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, digital products, and technical sales.
tick  Proven track record in closing mid-to-large custom software, mobile app, or web development deals.
tick  Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills—comfortable with C-level discussions.
tick  Strong CRM skills to manage pipelines, sales activities, and forecasting.
tick  Highly organized, goal-driven, and self-motivated with a growth mindset.
tick  Ability to work closely with project and technical teams to translate business needs into proposals.
tick  Willingness to travel across Malaysia for client meetings and events.
tick  Ability to adapt sales strategies based on evolving market and client feedback.
