Business Development Manager
Job Description :
Identify and pursue high-potential business opportunities across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Generate and qualify leads for custom software, web, and mobile app projects via digital outreach and networking.
Conduct client discovery meetings to understand technical requirements and business goals.
Work closely with VeecoTech’s technical and project teams to craft effective proposals and quotations.
Present tailored solutions to decision-makers (e.g., CEOs, CIOs, Heads of IT/Marketing).
Negotiate project scope, pricing, and terms to close deals aligned with company margins.
Manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-ups and reporting.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive account growth and repeat business.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets aligned with VeecoTech’s revenue goals.
Represent VeecoTech at industry events, expos, and digital platforms to expand market presence.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or software solution selling.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, digital products, and technical sales.
Proven track record in closing mid-to-large custom software, mobile app, or web development deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills—comfortable with C-level discussions.
Strong CRM skills to manage pipelines, sales activities, and forecasting.
Highly organized, goal-driven, and self-motivated with a growth mindset.
Ability to work closely with project and technical teams to translate business needs into proposals.
Willingness to travel across Malaysia for client meetings and events.
Ability to adapt sales strategies based on evolving market and client feedback.
