Eligibility for MSME Digital Grant MADANI 2025

Malaysian-Owned: The company is at least 60% owned by Malaysian.
Registration Requirement: The company is registered with either the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), Local Authorities (PBT), or Malaysia Co-operative Societies Commission (SKM).
Operating Duration: The MSME has been in operation for at least 6 months.
Annual Turnover: MSMEs which have been in operation is required to have a minimum annual sales turnover of RM50,000.
Previous Grants: MSMEs/Cooperatives must not have received previous Digitalisation Matching Grants.
E-invoicing: You ARE eligible to apply even if you are a PREVIOUS GRANT RECIPIENT.

2. Submit Documents

Complete the application form on Funding Societies, and choose ‘VeecoTech Solutions Sdn Bhd‘ as your Digitalisation Partner (DP).

What is MSME Digital Grant MADANI?

MSME Digital Grant MADANI is a new grant initiative provided by the Ministry of Finance Malaysia to assist Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (“MSME”) to adopt digitalisation in their business operations.

This program, launched under Budget 2023, is a collaborative effort between the Malaysian government, including the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN Bank), and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

It specifically targets micro, small, and medium enterprises in Malaysia, helping them digitize their operations for greater efficiency and growth.

What are the Digitalisation services available under the MSME Digitalisation Initiative/ Geran Digital PMKS MADANI 2025?

There are seven (9) types of digitalisation services available as follows:

Digital Marketing/Sales;
Digital Payment (Cashless)/Electronic Point of Sales (e-POS);
HR Payroll System/Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”);
Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”)/Accounting & Tax;
Digital Signature;
Cyber Security;
Internet of Things (“IoT”)/Intelligent System.
Artificial Intelligence (AI); and
E-Invoice

Can I apply if I have already gotten the 2020 SME grant or any other previous year?

No. MSMEs or cooperatives that have previously obtained a Digitalisation Matching Grant are not eligible for the MSME Digital Grant MADANI.
Except those applying for E-invoicing, they may REAPPLY.

Can I apply if I applied but failed to get the 2020 SME grant or other years of MSME Digital Grant MADANI?

Yes, you can apply.

What's the highest amount I can request with this grant?

This grant supports up to 50% of the invoiced total or a maximum of RM5,000.00 for each qualified MSME or cooperative to facilitate digitalisation.

Am I allowed to apply for multiple services through this initiative?

Absolutely, you can apply for up to three different digital services using the MSME Digital Grant MADANI.

What's the processing time for applications?

The application process typically lasts for up to 3 working days. Upon submitting your application, it undergoes a review for approval. You will receive an email notification regarding the status of your application.

What documents do I need to prepare for the grant application?

You will need to provide:

Completed online application form
A copy of the Owner/Director/Partner’s NRIC
Your business registration license or SSM business profile
Most recent audited/management accounts or the last two months’ bank statements

How much do I pay upfront?

You will need to clear the remaining invoice balance (minus the grant) to the Digitalisation Partner through Funding Societies’ payment services within 14 days.

After the service is provided, the Digitalisation Partner will get 50% of the total invoice amount or up to RM5,000.

How to make payment?

You will receive an email containing an unique payment link. Please make your payment through that link.

Once you have the grant approval notice, kindly forward your payment receipt and the grant approval notice to mdec@veecotech.com. We will then reach out to you shortly.
